Switzerland handball magazine “handball world” had an awards night few days ago, in which the best players of the domestic championship and the best Swiss player have been chosen. The best Swiss player has been voted Andy Schmid from the Rhein-Neckar Loewen, while Wacker Thun’s coach Martin Rubin won again the award ‘handball coach of the year’ after leading his team to this years’ double, and the first league title in club history. MVP of the championship is Lukas von Deschwanden (Wacker Thun), while female MVP is Azra Mustafoska (LC Bruehl).
