Barca win in Veszprem with Ristovski in main role!

FC Barcelona Lassa celebrated the ninth victory at the most noisy place in Europe – Veszprem Arena! Barca’s goalkeeper Borko Ristovski was on helm of turnover in the second half which put his team ahead of host Telekom Veszprem 25:22 (13:14). The 35-years old goalie saved 10 from 18 shots of Hungarian champions to ensure first place in Group A for Spanish best team and direct qualification for EHF CL TOP 8!

Team led by Xavi Sabate had no response on strong Barca’s defense in the second half. There were no player in the back line to make troubles to Xavi Pascual boys. Valero Rivera netted five goals for the winners and Lasse Andersson added four. On the other side, Dragan Gajic and Laszlo Nagy were TOP scorers with six goals each, but that wasn’t enough to celebrate win in front of home fans who could only realized once again that crisis from November and December is not over.
