The biggest surprise of the first part of German DKB Bundesliga 2013/2014, HBC Bergischer made a big decision for the future with signing a new contract deal with current coach Sebastian Hinze until 2016! Young coach came to Bergischer in summer 2012 and in the first season win the promotion to the 1. DKB HANDBALL Bundesliga. Some kind of a rule that promoted teams going back to the 2.Bundesliga after only one year, could be stopped by Bergischer, team who won 8 points in the first six matches of a new season. Hinze made a good team and atmosphere. That was praised by club’s management.
