Norway began World Championship campaign with a victory over Poland 22:20 (12:10) in front of 5.356 spectators in Nantes. The fourth best team of the last European Championship in Poland, had a favorite role in the openning match after all problems which smashed Polish roster before the road to France, but at the end, both teams had their chances to begin tournament with the smile.
