Bjornsen match-winner for Norway against Poland

Norway began World Championship campaign with a victory over Poland 22:20 (12:10) in front of 5.356 spectators in Nantes. The fourth best team of the last European Championship in Poland, had a favorite role in the openning match after all problems which smashed Polish roster before the road to France, but at the end, both teams had their chances to begin tournament with the smile.

Poles had their leader in experienced goalkeeper Adam Malcher, who saved 17 balls and kept his team in the game until the last minute. However, on the necessary level to play for the victory were only Daszek (7) and Gebala (6), but that wasn’t enough against Scandinavians.

Attack of Talant Dujshebaev team collapsed after last goal for 20:20 in 51st minute. A lot of technical mistakes and nervous moments from both side have been seen in the finish, but two goals Kristian Bjornsen made the difference.

Norwegian right wing was TOP scorer of his team with five goals behind Esper Lie Hansen with six.
