Bojana Popovic with 6th EHF CL trophy: “The End”

In Podgorica, Bojana Popovic wins sixth EHF Champions League (Slagelse, Viborg HK and Buducnost). One of the best handball players ever already decided that this will be her last proffesional season. She still have a big challenge with Montenegrian National Team, who has to qualify for the Olympic Games in London. Despite wish of all the fans that Bojana prolongs contract with Buducnost and don’t leave handball, she knows that it is time for the end:

– It was enough talks about end of my career. It is really a time to say godbye in the best possible moment. In the last 10 years, I won 7-8 big trophies and it’s time for withdrawal. It is a time for teams, which are spending a lot of money year by year, to win something. It is not fair to invests such a huge amounts, but nothing to win. I think that happiness followed me through career. Knowledge? Probably not in that measure, but trophies always went with me. Tnahks to happiness.
