Borac Banja Luka appoint Jovica Cvetkovic as new coach

RK Borac Banja Luka decided to sack coach Zoran Trninic last week and on his place appoint Jovica Cvetkovic. One of the best European teams in 70’s wants to win the Championship in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the first time in their history. Despite fantastic history of the club, Borac didn’t win any Championship after separation of big Yugoslavia.

Borac Banja Luka playing in SEHA League first part of the season afterwards will join “Play Off League” with Sloga Doboj and Izvidjac Ljubuski, also members of SEHA with three teams from the regular part of Bosnian Premier League.

Jovica Cvetkovic was the head-coach of Serbian NT at the World Championship 2009 in Croatia. He also worked in RK Crvena zvezda and RK Metalurg Skoplje, with whom won the national championships. In the last few years, he was unsuccessful on the bench of Saudi Arabia and romanian champion, HCM Constanta.
