When everyone thought that it’s gonna be a three-horse race for the Bundesliga this season, and that THW Kiel and Rhein-Neckar Loewen are going to be joined by SG Flensburg in the title hunt, the northernmost German handball club were unexpectedly defeated by TBV Lemgo with 22:27, and are now six points behind leaders THW Kiel, but with a game less. THW Kiel won against TuSEM Essen, while Rhein-Neckar Loewen had an incredibly easy job against Hannover-Burgdorf at home winning 39:28.
