The last games of the 30th Bundesliga round which saw THW Kiel already winning the “Meistertitel” with 4 rounds left, brought us some interesting results as well. At home, Rhein-Neckar Lowen beat Fuchse Berlin with 31:29, with Mueller, Myrhol, Lijewski and Cupic each scoring 5 goals for the home team. With Flensburg winning as expected against Huttenberg at home with 37:27 (Sven Hansen – 9 goals), the North-German team now is closer to winning the 2nd place, as HSV Hamburg surprisingly lost in Melsungen with 30:29. With Flensburg having nice advantage (49:11) ahead of other teams for the 2nd place., it will be dead heat about the 3rd place, as RNL,are 46:16, Fuchse 46:16 and HSV 45:15.
