In the opener of the 9th round of the “Staerkste Liga der Welt”, title-contender Flensburg demolished Lemgo at home. After the defeat last round at home to Magdeburg, now Lemgo continued their bad run. Flensburg at home are indeed a strong team, and this was proved by the huge 11 goals victory over Lemgo. Already at half time the hosts led 16:10, and Lemgo’s resistance was broken. In the end, 33:22 for Flensburg-Handewitt. As usual, Anders Eggert was topscorer with eight goals, while Kaufmann contributed with seven. Lemgo had Zieker with six.
