Dream came true in Podgorica last May, when Budućnost has won the Women’s EHF Champions League. Totallly reconstructed team with many new faces was the reason why nobody expected something huge at the beginning of the elite competition this year. Surprisingly easy win over Zvezda 29:21 is a sign that Montenegrin champion is again ready to fight for the TOP.

6. TISELJ’S TEARS…

Krim Mercator’s coach, Tone Tiselj admits that match against Jolidon Cluj was the „toughest in his career“. Tears in his eyes on the end of the match showed how difficult was last month in Ljubljana with a lot of injuries (Piedade among them) and defeat against Zagorje in domestic championship.

7. PARTIZAN FIRST TRIUMPH AFTER 12 DEFEATS

Celebration in Niš. After 12 defeats in a row in the VELUX EHF Champions League, Serbian champion, RK Partizan won over Ademar Leon 33:31. This is a great impulse for the next matches of outsider in Group A.

8. MINSK RESISTANCE IN “BLAUGRANA”

F.C Barcelona has won third match in a row in Europe this season, but Dinamo Minsk was fantastic in „Blaugrana“. Belarus team showed strength and played without a fear against legendary rival.
