Celje PL Claim 27th Slovenian Championship Title After Stunning Play-off Final Win

Celje Pivovarna Laško are Slovenian champions for the 27th time! The team led by head coach Klemen Luzar produced a major surprise in the play-off final, defeating the reigning champions and the club with the biggest budget in the country, RD LL Grosist Slovan, in two matches.

In the second final, Celje won a high-scoring battle 41:39 and sealed another historic title for the club.
