AG Copenhagen won the match against Montpellier 31:27 in front of 9.000 domestic fans in France. After the win, which qualifed Danes for the “Group winner clash” against THW Kiel next weekend, one of the most experienced players, Joachim Boldsen was very satisfied:
– Montpellier is a team with class players at all positions and there are not many teams who can go down there and controlling the match from start to finish. We did and I have no doubt that this was our biggest and best performance to date.

– This will definitely commands respect around the country. Many have looked at us and been a little uncertain. It’s not any more. I am glad of rendering in its entirety, but especially the coolness, we play with. They come close in the second half and suddenly starts audience also putting pressure on. We remain calm and respond promptly again with a pair of counter-scores, where we shut them down again. We were never in the fight shaken or losing grip.
