Incredible Croatia shocked the handball world and won the bronze medal at the European championship by winning against the home team 25:19 (11:11). Strong defense in the second half left the opponent without a goal for 17 minutes, and then the big celebration started.

Megérdemelték a horvát lányok a bronzermet. Végig kiválóan játszottak. Előzetesen a sok szakértő még a csoportból való továbbjutasra sem tartotta őket esélyesnek. Egyébként az együttesben összesen 5 játékos profi a szövetségi kapitány elmondása szerint. HAJRÁ FRADI.
