Croatia to play for World title after 16 years!

Croatia will play at the World Championship 2025 final in Oslo! The host team beat France 31:27 (18:11) in the spectacular atmosphere of Arena Zagreb, where 15.000 fans made unforgettable stage for their players. The last time when Croatia was in the World Championship final match was at the same place 16 years ago when they were defeated by the same rival 19:24.

Croatia had +9 in the first half providing amazing experience to their fans.

France showed totally different approach at the beginning of the second half, primarly in defense with “man to man”, but Croatian side managed to score goals with Srna and Martinovic in the main roles.

French team came on 25:28 in 53rd minute with the goal of Dika Mem. However, Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Kuzmanovic had another outstanding night to stop possible turnover.

Jelinic and Srna were TOP scorers in winning squad with seven goals, while Kuzmanovic had 14 saves. Dika Mem netted eight for France.
