CZECH HIGH INTEREST FOR HANDBALL: Prague to host Men’s EHF EURO 2030 Final?

On the last Thursday, the mayor of Prague, Bohuslav Svoboda, signed the application for co-hosting the Men’s EHF EURO 2030. The Czech Republic plans to share the host with Denmark and Poland and, if successful, the final will be played in Prague, while other matches will be played in Herning and in Katowice, Poland.

“Handball has a long tradition and significant support here, both in terms of the increase in the number of players and the great interest of fans. Moreover, recently by hosting the Ice Hockey World Cup, we confirmed again that we can organizationally handle large sporting events. I therefore believe that Prague will also succeed in co-hosting the European Championship,” says Prague Mayor Bohuslav Svoboda to Česka Házena.
