Danes to set a new handball record

The cup-final between AG Copenhagen and Bjerringbro-Silkeborg to be played at Parken, is likely to be noted in history, if the wishes of Jesper Nielsen become true. The aim is to have 33,000 spectators for the final, which is the stadium’s capacity, and until now “only” 17,000 have been sold.

The previous record was set at the Schalke arena, when 30,925 attended the match between Lemgo and THW Kiel, and now it’s a good chance to beat that record. Nielsen also said that there will be more massive advertising, in order to popularize the event and beat the current record.
