For the first time in the club history, Croatian champion, C.O Zagreb beats F.C Barcelona 30:29 (15:14) in the Round 9 of the Velux EHF Champions League. A brilliant 60 minutes had right side of Zagreb’s attack, Marko Kopljar with 7 and Zlatko Horvat with 6 goals, while very good role between the posts had Marin Sego with 13 saves. After unexpected defeat last weekend in Sweden, C.O Zagreb lost his chances to win the Group, but these first win against the current EHF CL Champions will bring a new dose of self-confidence to the team who played in “Blaugrana” without Ivano Balic!
