EHF Cup: KIF Kolding win “EHF Cup derby” against Rhein-Neckar Loewen

KIF Kolding increased their chance largely to win the first place in the Group B, after they won today’s match at home against RN Lowen. Both teams were previously with 2 wins from 2 games, and with this victory, the Danish take the step forward towards the first place. In the low scoring game, both teams exchanged lead in the first half, but in the end of it the Danes were able to take a slight and go at break with 13:11. In the second half, many times RN Loewen managed to equalize, but it was the farthest they got. In the final minutes the Danes took two-goals lead which they kept until the end, winning the game 25:23.

Lasse Boesen was the leading scorer for the Danish team with six goals, while the main star Kim Andersson had five. Alexander Petersson was RN Lowen’s best with six goals.
