EHF Cup: Magdeburg with three goals lead travels to Skopje

Magdeburg was huge favorite in the game against Vardar Skopje, but only managed to get a 3-goals lead ahead of the return leg in Skopje some 10 days later. Vardar started well and had a 6:1 lead, but Magdeburg with a 11:2 run put themself back on track, and since then kept a steady 3 to 5 goals lead, which in the end resulted with a 30:27 victory. We shall see in Skopje whether this lead was enough for SCM to qualify.
