EHF EURO 2014 Zagreb: Four teams still dream about Budapest!

Wednesday will be one of the most interesting days in the history of EHF events. Only Norway secured the place in the semi-final of the Women’s EHF EURO 2014. Decision about the three other teams will be made tomorrow in the matches of the Main Round – Day 3. Montenegro opened day in Zagreb with an important victory over Netherlands 31:27 (15:13). Team led by Dragan Adzić had the biggest protagonist in Katarina Bulatović who netted 10 times. STATISTICS

In the second match of the Day, Sweden easily crushed Slovakia 31:22 and come very close to the semis.

Finally, France managed to save chances for the trip to Budapest, when they scored goal from 7-meter line 20 seconds before the final whistle for 24:24 against Germany.

Sweden and Montenegro will open program in Zagreb on Wednesday (15.45) with the clash which could give answers about the semi-finalists from Croatian part of the draw. Sweden are almost there, and only huge defeat and,  in the last match of the day (20.15), impressive triumph of Dutch girls over France, could put Swedish girls under the line.
