END OF AN ERA: Dragan Adzic to quit in Montenegro

Dragan Adzic will resign as Montenegrian national team coach after debacle at the Olympic Games in Rio. The coach who got a nickname “Mr. Women’s handball” due his successful campaign with national team and ZRK Buducnost Podgorica, will leave the bench of “golden lioness” after six years.

Montenegro won European gold in 2012 and Olympic silver same year with him on the bench, but also fourth place at Women’s EURO 2014.

Adzic will stay coach of ZRK Buducnost, with whom he won EHF Champions League twice, in 2012 and 2015.
