The first international adventure is ahead one of the most successful coaches in women’s handball. The Montenegrian coach Dragan Adzic will try to raise level up Slovenian national team.
The European champion and Olympic vice-champion with Montenegro, but also two times EHF Champions League winner with ZRK Buducnost in 2012 and 2015, replaced Uros Bregar on the helm of Slovenian national team, which the best result in 13th place at EHF EURO 2018.
Slovenia will co-host Women’s EHF EURO 2022 with North Macedonia and Montenegro.
The first job for Adzic will be WCh 2021 Play-Off against Iceland in the third week of April.
