EHF EURO 2022: Vranjes leads Slovenia without Bombac

Slovenian national team coach Ljubomir Vranjes has announced list of 21 players for the upcoming Men’s EHF EURO 2022 in Hungary and Slovakia. For the matches of the Preliminary phase with Denmark, Montenegro and Northern Macedonia, Vranjes won’t take a help of profiles like Dean Bombac, Mario Sostaric, Klemen Ferlin, etc…

Goalkeepers: Jože Baznik (Cesson Rennes), Miljan Vujović (Celje Pivovarna Laško), Urban Lesjak (Hannover) and Urh Kastelic (Göppingen)
Wings: Gašper Marguč (Veszprem), Blaž Janc (Barcelona), Tilen Kodrin (Celje Pivovarna Laško) and Tilen Sokolič (Gorenje Velenje)
Backline players: Borut Mačkovšek, Nik Henigman (oba Pick Szeged), Staš Skube (Meškov Brest), Vid Levc (Slovenj Gradec 2011), Jure Dolenec (Limoges), Miha Zarabec (Kiel), Rok Ovniček (Nantes), Domen Makuc (Barcelona), Tadej Kljun (Benfica) and Matic Grošelj (Chartres)
Line players: Vid Poteko, Matic Suholežnik (oba Celje Pivovarna Laško)and Blaž Blagotinšek (Veszprem)

Slovenia won the fourth place at the last Men’s EHF EURO 2020 in Sweden.
