The upcoming Men’s EHF EURO 2016 is a great chance that thesis about extension of professional handball career get another confirmation. Some of the best handball players past 35 years, but they are still at the TOP, powerful and mentally strong.

Handball-Planet.com made a list of BEST 7 among the players who were born and 1980 and older. The only problem was to find a right wing in that ages. Interesting, 16 teams have no older than 34-years old right wing! So, we had to put into the squad Hans Lindberg, who is born in 1981.

GOALKEEPER: Thierry Omeyer (France)
LEFT WING: Gudjon Valur Sigurdsson (Iceland)
LEFT BACK: Daniele Narcisse (France)
PLAYMAKER: Chema Rodriguez (Spain)
RIGHT BACK: Kiril Lazarov (Macedonia)
RIGHT WING:  Hans Lindberg (Denmark)
LINE PLAYER: Jesper Noddesbo (Denmark)

You will probably ask – What about Jerome Fernandez, Uroš Zorman, Mattias Andersson, Arpad Šterbik, Robert Gunarsson, Bo Spelerberg?

Yes, you have right, they are all in “best years” for handball….
