The 2020 Euro qualifiers break is behind us and all the European leagues reached the playoffs or the final matchdays.

FC Barcelona has won the Spanish treble already and look for the EHF Champions League first title since 2014/15. In the Liga Asobal relegation zone, Alcobendas is very close for the Division de Honor Plata and Teucro will try to catch Morrazo Cangas and stay in the top level. The first promoters will be Nava probably and maybe we will see the comeback of Ciudad Real from the promotion’s playoffs.

In the Bundesliga, The SG Flensburg-Handewitt and THW Kiel will fight for the title until the end. Just like the same situation in the relegations fights while Bietigheim-Metterzimmern and Ludwigshafen try to close the gap from VFL Gummersbach. From the 2. Bundesliga, HBW Balingen-Weilstetten and Coburg close for a Bundesliga comeback.

The French Champions expected champions will be Paris Saint Germain while the main fight will be for the EHF Champions League the last ticket. UMS Pontault-Combault is very close for the second league, Proligue, as Istres, Cesson Rennes-Metropole and Ivry try to stay in top level. One of the promoters might be Chartres with the amazing squad.

The Bosnian leaders are Gracanica and Bosna Visoko try to close 3 points gap. In Croatia, such as always, Nexe try to take the title from PPD Zagreb in the Championship group. In the Danish Winners stage, GOG, Aalborg and Bjerringbro/Silkeborg are close to the playoffs semi finals. The last ticket team will be Skjern or Holstebro.

The Hungarian playoffs home advantage will be in Pick Szeged’s hands, that expected to meet Veszprem in the final. In North Macedonia, it would be very surprising if one winners group’s team will defeat the champions Vardar Skopje. The polish league still in the playoffs quarter finals. Gornik Zabrze expected to meet Wisla Plock in the semis and it is the only optional surprise.

In the Romanian Winners stage format, Constanta lead the Group A and Dinamo Bucurest in the top of Group B. The Portugal winners stage leaders are Porto and Sporting Lisbon. In Russia, we might see new champions, Spartak Moscow that lead before the playoffs. The Slovenian champions, Lasko Celje surprised with 29:29 vs. Riko Ribnica while the main contenders are Gorenje Velenje.

In the neighbors, The SEHA Liga team Vojvodina lead the Serbian league again and on the way for another title. The Turkish Champions without a fight are Besiktas while Batman Belediyesi and Selka Eskisehir play for the 2nd place. In Ukraine, Motor Zaporozhye are unbeatable, but the city’s rival ZTR is close.

In the Swiss playoffs quarter finals: Kadetten Schaffhausen – RTV Basel, BSV Bern – TSV St. Otmar St. Gallen, Pfadi Winterthur – Kriens, Suhr Aarau – Wacker Thun. In the Austrian playoffs quarter finals: Krems – Ferlach, HSG Graz – Aon Fivers, Alpla Hard – Schwaz, West Wien – Bregenz. Relegation playoffs: Leoben – Linz.
