German team, Frisch Auf Goppingen confirms that Serbian No1. goalkeeper, Darko Stanic will join to the team next summer and stay until 2015. Stanic, who currently playing in HC Metalurg, signed contract with the Germans year ago, when he was in Cimos Koper. After Koper failled to agree with Goppingen to let Stanic in Germany last summer (before begin of the contract), Serbian goalkeeper found himself in Skopje, where is he one of the best player and most important part of the squad, already qualifed for the EHF Champions League TOP 16 phase.
There was a wish of Metalurg’s Management to keep Stanic in Macedonia, but Goppingen obviosly isn’t interested for this solution. Stanic will substitute Enid Tahirovic, who will finish his proffesional career and back to Sarajevo.
