Filip Glavaš to join SG Flensburg-Handewitt in Summer 2025?


Croatian right-winger Filip Glavaš is set to make a big move in his career, as he will join SG Flensburg-Handewitt in the summer of 2025, according to Handball-Planet.com sources. The 27-year-old, currently playing for RK Zagreb, will strengthen the Bundesliga powerhouse in their quest for domestic and European success.
The member of the Croatian NT squad was one of the best players in his position at IHF World Championship 2025 when Dagur Sigurdsson’s squad won a silver medal!
Glavas playing his second season in Zagreb. He had two years of international experience from a neighborhood in Slovenia, where he played for RK Trimo Trebnje (2021-2023).
Flensburg has been actively reinforcing their squad, with Glavaš joining a team that consistently competes for titles in the Daikin Handball-Bundesliga and the EHF Champions League. His arrival will provide additional depth and competition on the right-wing, ensuring a strong rotation throughout the season. He will share time with Slovenian right wing Domen Novak, who will join the team in “FLENS Arena” from HSG Wetzlar.
Currently, duo on right wing position in Flensburg is Hansen – Horgen. For both players contracts are running out at the end of the season.
