FINALLY – Players raise up their voice in campaign #DontPlayThePlayers

The European Handball Players Union released video clip in which some of the biggest handball stars calling for more time to rest under the hashtag #DontPlaythePlayers

What do we want to achieve?

– More rest days during the international championships and the Olympic qualification (3 matches in 3 days).

– Final 4 in Champions League (women and men) to be extended from two to three days (i.e. semi-finals played on Friday and Finals on Sunday).

– Involvement of the players in the decision-making bodies on IHF level (to be heard regarding new rules etc.). The players have a place in EHFs Professional Handball Board which we greatly appreciate.

– A meeting with the president of IHF and EHF regarding the overall work load for the top players.
