France going for the third Olympic gold!

The French national team will fight for the third gold Olympic medal, the fifth in the history of the most successful handball nation.
France beat Egypt 27:23 (13:13) after great battle in which match winner was their goalkeeper Vincent Gerrard. The PSG goalie had 17 saves, 9 more than Egyptian duo Hendawy-Altajar.
Descat and Mem scored five goals each for the winning team, while on the other side Omar Yahia and Elahmar scored the same.
France won Olympic gold medals in Beijing 2008 and London 2012.
