What was expected to be a big derby in the French Championship turned into one-team showed in the second half. Montpellier could fend off Paris only until the end of the first half, when it was a respectable goal difference lead for the home team, 15:13 at half time. But in the second half, Montpellier got totally demolished. Paris HC seemed unstoppable and scored from every attack, while Montpellier was clueless most of the time and scored only 11 goals in the second half. In the end, Paris HC won 38:24 against Montpellier.
