France without Lenne and Mahe into final phase of WCh 2025 preparation
France going into final phase of preparation without two players from initial list. Yannis Lenne and Kentin Mahe are now out of the squad as they should get fully fit in the upcoming period.
Yanis Lenne, the right winger of Montpellier HB, suffered a relapse (back pain). He needs another rest period, according to the association. Kentin Mahé, the playmaker of VfL Gummersbach, made a surprise comeback in the last Bundesliga game (against Füchse Berlin), but asked not to take part in the start of the preparation “in order to continue the work he started with his club to stabilize and strengthen his elbow,” explains Gille.
