Germany to fight for semis, Gislason: Portugal will be a tough rival

The German handball team secured a convincing 31:19 win against Tunisia in their fourth main round match, delivering a professional performance. Now, German team are waiting for the best team from Oslo’s group to fight for semi-final:
“Everyone performed well today, allowing us to rest key players like Golla, Köster, Uscins, and Witzke. I was especially impressed with David Späth and Marko Grgic. Lukas Zerbe stepped up on the left wing when Mertens needed a break, and he handled it excellently. Throughout the tournament, we’ve improved our starts and made good use of our squad depth. With only one loss so far, we’re in a strong position heading into the quarterfinals. Portugal has had a fantastic tournament, proving to be a tough opponent with everything clicking for them this year.“, stated DHB coach Alfred Gislason.
