“No one can beat Gidsel” Danish star leading TOP scorers list with Kuzmanovski

The 29th IHF Men’s World Handball Championship going into the last phase. Quarter-final matches are ahead of us and although the winners are not clear, the situation at TOP goalscorers list are much more easier to predict.

Mathias Gidsel and Filip Kuzmanovski leading with 49 goals, but Kuzmanovski ended Championship with North Macedonia, while Gidsel will have at least one, but probably three more chances to score some goals.

Among TOP 10 scorers only three will continue to play – Gidsel, his compatriot Simon Pytlick iwht 37 and French star Dika Mem with 36 goals. This is the big chance for Gidsel to stay at the TOP.

  2. Filip Kuzmanovski (North Macedonia): Kuzmanovski matches Gidsel’s tally with 49 goals but boasts a higher efficiency of 69%, having taken 71 shots. Notably, he has scored 13 out of 19 goals from the 7-meter line.
  3. Rutger ten Velde (Netherlands): Ten Velde has emerged as a standout performer, scoring 46 goals from 58 attempts, resulting in an impressive 79% shooting efficiency. His contribution includes 17 goals from 20 attempts at the 7-meter mark.
  4. Frankis Marzo (Qatar): Marzo has been a consistent scorer for Qatar, accumulating 42 goals from 76 shots, with a 55% shooting efficiency.
  5. Lenny Rubin (Switzerland): Rubin has contributed significantly to Switzerland’s campaign, scoring 40 goals from 64 attempts, achieving a 63% shooting efficiency.
  6. Saif Aldawani (Kuwait): Aldawani has been a key player for Kuwait, netting 39 goals from 70 shots, resulting in a 56% shooting efficiency.
  7. Simon Pytlick (Denmark): Pytlick has added to Denmark’s offensive strength with 37 goals from 49 attempts, boasting a 76% shooting efficiency.
  8. Leo Prantner (Italy): Prantner has been a pivotal player for Italy, scoring 37 goals from 50 shots, achieving a 74% shooting efficiency. Notably, he has converted 10 out of 16 attempts from the 7-meter line.
  9. Sebastian Frimmel (Austria): Frimmel has made a significant impact for Austria, netting 36 goals from 52 attempts, with a 69% shooting efficiency. He has been particularly effective from the 7-meter line, scoring 14 out of 18 attempts.
  10. Dika Mem (France): Mem has been a consistent scorer for France, accumulating 36 goals from 50 shots, resulting in a 72% shooting efficiency.
