Antonio Carlos Ortega and his assistant Iker Romero extended contracts at TSV Hannover Burgdorf. The German team, who qualified for the Men’s EHF Cup, where will meet Portuguese Benfica SL at Round 3 and played at DHB Cup Final4 last season, showed satisfaction with extension of contracts with Spaniards who came in summer 2017.
Ortega, former coach of Spanish Antequera, Hungarian Telekom Veszprem and Danish KIF Kolding, signed contract until 2021. Iker Romero, legendary player who made his name in German handball by playing at Fuchse Berlin, will stay at the club at least until 2020.
TSV Hannover Burgdorf are currently at ninth position at DKB Bundesliga.
