Mads Øris Nielsen has signed yet another contract with Bjerringbro-Silkeborg and will be playing in the Danish club at least until June 2020. He started his handball career in Bjerringbro FH, which later teamed up with Silkeborg-Voel and became Bjerringbro-Silkeborg.
Mads Øris Nielsen is therefore called “Mister BSV”, and he is also a member of the Hall of Fame in JYSK arena in Silkeborg. Last but not least he is the club’s MVP – Most Valuable Player – between 2005-2015.
“It could be my last contract, but it is not for sure at all. I take one year at a time,”says Mads Øris Nielsen.
He is happy to be able to continue in Bjerringbro-Silkeborg for several reasons:
“We have something great going on, I think, and we are a team where many of the players and profiles have played together for many years. And think it shows when we play, that we know each other well, and we play great handball. You can also see it on the results and standings right now,” he says.
But Mads Øris Nielsen is still chasing a title – something he has not yet achieved with Bjerringbro-Silkeborg.
Bjerringbro-Silkeborg is currently on the first place in both the Danish National League.
