GOODBYE ZAGREB: Luka Stepančić out for six months!

Tragic moments for all Croatian handball fans have been seen in Flensburg, when PPD Zagreb right back Luka Stepančić had to leave the court two minutes before the final buzzer – in pain! It was visible that he suffered serious knee (right) injury, but hopes stayed alive until the final diagnosis.

“Injury of knee ligaments” at the end, will keep him out of the handball court for at least six months, which means that for 25 years-old Croatian lefthander, season is over!

Stepancic will miss whole EHF CL campaign, Men’s EHF EURO 2016 in Poland and Olympic qualifications three months after. Moreover, it is almost clear that he won’t play any official match for PPD Zagreb (maybe one or two in domestic Play-Off, but more symbolic).

He will become a new member of PSG Handball next summer.
