Great interest for the Men’s Junior’ World Championship in Greece

The XVIII Men’s Junior World Handball Championship from 17 to 30 July 2011 encounters an unprecedented media interest. TV stations from around the world will broadcast in total 36 preliminary round matches from the Greek port city of Thessaloniki, which is the venue of the Men’s Junior World Championship. In addition they also expressed their interest in broadcasting numerous eight-finals.

Due to the fact that the matches are generally broadcast on TV as from the quarter-finals, the host and the International Handball Federation expect more than 50 World Championship games to be covered live by TV 2 SPORT A/S from Denmark, RTR Sport from Russia, Arena Sport for Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia/Herzegovina and Montenegro, Sport TV from Portugal, Al Dawri & Al Kass Sports Channel from Qatar and of course by three Greek public stations (ET1, ET3 and Sport+).

Additionally  the XVIII Men’s Junior World Handball Championship will also be showed worldwide on www.laola1.tv with a maximum of 8 matches per day. Please find hereafter the matches which can be watched live on LAOLA1.tv (Swiss time):
