Ambitious project in German handball, MT Melsungen, will finally get the coaching person necessary for a big result. His name is Gudmundur Gudmundsson!
Icelandic coach, Olympic champion with Denmark 2016 and vice-champion with Iceland in 2018, will overtake the job from Heiko Grimm who was sacked after four matches without a victory which put Melsungen on position No.7 far away from the best teams who are competing for the place at EHF Champions League.
Gudmundsson will start to work on Friday with the first PRESS conference.
He is currently working as Icelandic national team coach and he will keep it.
