According to the latest survey in Germany, handball staying on the list of team’s sport at position No.2 behind football.
Document published at the end of 2019 discovering the fact that handball clubs in the strongest European market had 750.000 members.
This is far away from the number of members in fitness clubs across the country (over 11.000.000) and football clubs (7.13), but better in comparation with other team’s sports like basketball and voleyball who are not on the list.
Germany co-organized Men’s IHF World Championship 2019 with Denmark with a great success, while the country of the strongest handball league in the world will host also Men’s EHF EURO 2024.
