Handball club “Viciaz-Leon” refused to play today match of the Belarusian championship due to the arrest of national basketball player Yelena Leuchanka.
The club has already informed the Belarusian handball federation that it will not enter the field of play in today’s game against handball club “Masheka”.
As the team explained, they consider Leuchanka’s arrest illegal as well as their position is against pressure on Belarusian citizens.
