Hungary DREAMS BIG, Mate Lekai: Just think about next match against Germany
The most experienced Hungarian player at EHF EURO 2024, Mate Lekai, showed a lot of passion in another win of his team against Croatia 29:26 which put “green team” closer to the final weekend, where nobody expected them. Experienced playmaker praised his younger team-mates and underline that they think only about next match against Germany on Monday at Lanxess Arena:
“Of course, it was very tough match, Croatia is very good team. We lost against Austria and we want to show how we are strong and to step up. We lost Zsita before the match, hope he will be ready for the next match. It was like every match at EHF EURO, almost last minute decide everything, today was better for us – said Lekai and underlined the biggest strentgh of the team:
– It is definitely the team. The chemistry how we fight until the end. We are giving everything, win or lose, it’s not important, we give everything.
About semi-final chances…
– Next match against Germany in Germany. We will see how it will be, but we will give everything to win – concluded Lekai.
