Iceland beat Austria 26:24 to end Austrian hopes for semi-final and keep some chances to win Olympic qualification ahead of their rivals. For that, Hungary needs to beat France in the next match at Lanxess Arena. In that situation, Iceland would finish third in a group ahead of Austria and will play tournament for Paris in March as one of two best European teams alongside Portugal.
