The last day of the Main Round in Cologne will bring the battle for semi-final place No.2, but also Olympic qualifications.
Germany has a “match-ball” against Croatia for semi-final at Lanxess Arena against Denmark, but still some chances to play for the medal have also Hungary and Austria.
Iceland must beat Austria to stay in the race for Olympic qualifications. If Hungary lose against France, than in the cycle of three teams Iceland starts from -8 (Hungary is on +7), while Austria is currently on +1. That means Icelanders have to beat Austria by +5 and more to reach Olympic qualifications visa.
