IHF Super Globe 2023: Kielce and Magdeburg win opener – Serious injury of Philipp Weber

Four matches of the IHF Super Globe 2023 have been played on the Day 1 of the tournament in Saudi Arabia. Kielce had problems against Al Najma 27:26, but Polish champions prevailed at the end. SC Magdeburg, Al Ahly and Al Kuwait also succeed.
The biggest news from day 1 is injury of SC Magdeburg playmaker Philipp Weber, who seriously injured knee and waiting for a diagnosis.
