Important last day at EHF EURO 2024 for WCh 2025 Play-Off pot places
The last day of Preliminary Round at Men’s EHF EURO 2024 will give an answer in which Pots will be the team for World Championship 2025 in Croatia, Denmark and Norway.
The European qualification for the 2025 World Men’s Handball Championship will be contested in two rounds between November 2023 and May 2024.[1] They will join six already qualified teams: Croatia and Norway, as co-hosts, Denmark as co-host and title holder, France as defending runner-ups, and two best ranked teams at 2024 European Men’s Handball Championship excluding Croatia, Norway and Denmark.
it means that all team ranked to the 17th place at EHF EURO 2024 (third placed teams except 18th team) will join Pot 1, while the last-ranked will be in the Pot 2 together with four winners of pre-qualifications which will be played in March.
Play off for WCh 2025 will be played in May 2024.
