Kathrine Heindahl ended WCh 2023 with serious injury
Danish line player Kathrine Heindahl’s World Championship 2023 in front of home fans in Herning had the worst ending-story by taking her off the court due injury.
She ended in tears in the second half of the semi-final clash against Norway.
– Thank you ❤️. An eight-year dream of playing with the national team in a packed Jyske Bank Box came true. I enjoyed EVERY second on that track. – Unfortunately, my playing time ended a game and a half too early with a torn inner ligament 😔 But that shouldn’t drown out the magical feeling I’ve had every other day for two weeks 🥹🇩🇰 – All energy goes to the girls tomorrow – let’s take another medal to DENMARK 💪🏼 – After that, it’s about surgery and hard rehabilitation to run on the field again soon and create more fantastic memories with Team Esbjerg and the women’s handball #comebackstronger, wrote Kathrine on her Instagram.
