Kazan “Beach Handball” draw – how to become World Champions?

Kazan draw for VIII Beach Handball World championships was held yesterday and now all teams know their way till the last 3 knock out phase if they want to compete for the title and medals.

As this is first senior WCh with participation of 16 teams, instead 12 as it was so far, it is clear that competition will be very tough to everyone and that there will not be possible to make success without playing each match in full strength. Beach Handball on its VII WCh on previous six has medal winners from 4 different continents and title holders from Panamerica, Europe and Africa which is the best proof of already fantastic development of this sport.

One of the most interesting result of the draw is that RUS national team coaches in both competition decided to join the group where already were drawn BRA and USA.

The results of the draw in both competition are following:

(female competition)

Group A: ESP, AUS, GRE, PAR

Group B: POL, URU, FRA, TPE

Group C: BRA, THA, RUS, USA

Group D: NOR, DEN, VIE, MEX

(male competition)

Group A:  CRO, IRI, URU, ARG

Group B: ESP, HUN, VIE, NZL

Group C: QAT, OMA, AUS, DEN
