Kielce aware of Final4 chance: We will take Montpellier seriously

Lomza Vive Kielce took 31:28 lead from the first match in Montpellier, but Polish team won’t underestimate two-time EHF Champions League winners in the second clash of TOP 8 phase.

  • We are on the right track to achieve our goal and dreams of reaching Final4. We did a great job in Montpellier, we played a very good game, but we remember that it is only half of the tie. In Kielce we have to put a dot over the “i” – comments Krzysztof Lijewski – You have to approach this match pragmatically and start from scratch. Three goals can be made up very quickly in handball, which is why it is a negligible advantage. We have to play as if we are losing. By watching the team training, I’m sure everyone is aware of the goal.

Kielce’s goalkeeper Andreas Wolff has the same opinion:

  • Three goals are nothing. We have to approach the second game as we did the first, which is only to win. We cannot allow ourselves to think that we can lose by one or two goals. I have to defend more of Hugo Descat’s attempts, the defense has to block one more throw, and the attacker has to throw one more goal. If everyone does their job, we have a good chance to win – adds Andreas Wolff.

Aalborg – Telekom Veszprem Wednesday 18:45 – 29:36
Vive Kielce – Montpellier 20:45 – 31:28
Barcelona – Flensburg-H. Thursday 18:45 – 33:29
Kiel – Paris SG 20:45 – 30:30
