Knorr and Dahmke have a flu – Michalczik as replacement?

The DHB team faces challenges as playmaker Juri Knorr and left-wing Rune Dahmke are sidelined due to flu-like infections, as confirmed by multiple reports. Despite earlier optimism about Knorr’s participation, his absence was confirmed. To compensate, the DHB has added Marian Michalczik as a “Late Entry” to the squad, bringing the roster to 18 players. Michalczik is expected to join the team in Denmark and could play against Tunisia on Saturday.
For the crucial main round match against Italy, the 16-player lineup must be finalized shortly before the game. The DHB retains flexibility to make roster changes from the larger pre-tournament squad as needed during the competition.
In the last match Germany lost against Denmark 30:40.
