Dagur Sigurdsson about move to Flensburg: I am not going 100%

Dagur Sigurðsson, head coach of the Croatian national handball team, addressed rumors circulating after his team’s victory against Cape Verde. Reports claimed that Sigurðsson had a falling out with star player Luka Cindric, who subsequently left the squad due to injury.
When asked about the situation by Visir.is, Sigurðsson denied the allegations, stating, “There was no argument between us. Everything is fine.” He smiled while brushing off the claims, emphasizing that Cindric’s departure was purely due to health reasons.
In addition, Sigurðsson took the opportunity to dispel another circulating rumor—that he is poised to take over as head coach of the German handball club Flensburg. “I’m not going to Flensburg, that’s 100 percent certain,” he clarified. “This is simply part of what I have to deal with in this position. Things are just a bit different here.”
With these statements, Sigurðsson aimed to quell any speculation, refocusing attention on Croatia’s ongoing campaign in the championship.
